Good evening citizens of the Montanrian Commonwealth, as you all know the Republic has been really busy building their "undercity" to get close to us. I mean lnom nom> they've been at it for months lnom nom>. Seems like they are almost finished now, after having spent so many resources building it.
I feel like it's time to move locations don't you? lnom nom> All of their work has basically been for nothing. Ha laters Republic. Enjoy your fair city!

And now for some technical info

The Montanrian QMT Station is truly a marvel of technology. Not only can this huge station fly, it can also travel. Albeit slowly.
This station is undeniably the last word in defence technology, sporting a so-called QMT shield. This shield is the greatest piece of technology Chief Science Officer Yedelmann has ever invented.
This shield does not block incoming attacks, it teleports them to the other side of the shield dome while skipping everything within.
QMT stands for Quantum Matter Teleportation. This renders the Republic's Megalauncher practically useless. As powerful as it is, all of its attacks will simply be teleported to the other side of the shield while skipping what's within.
Due to some clever trickery, registered Montanrian equipment and munitions can pass unhindered.
All Montanrian equipment is outfitted with a tiny AI chip that can register a hostile takeover after which it will destroy itself and the ability to pass the shield along with it.
This shield does not work on organics but that problem is in it of itself solved by the formidable "Avalauncher" defence drone, which patrols the inside of the dome
Inside the QMT shield dome, the station can regulate the atmosphere. As such it is a comfortable 19 degrees Celsius. The people of the commonwealth live on small, floating "bio-platforms"
All in all, this makes living in the Commonwealth much more comfortable than living in some geothermal caves.

Does that mean if someone on the inside shot a missile out, it'd be teleported back in at the other side and would hit the ship?
