"in the event of Verticala and Horizontali meeting, what group of Vertebates would come out on Top?" Not really sure, I think it depends on the types of clades and who does what better.
By Omegasquid
Yeah, they could, TBH I don't think their true cuspamelopards but rather a sister clade to them.
By Omegasquid
There's another group of flying vertebrates which are xenotheropods.
By R13426
Dang yeah I hope WhalephantSnail is okay too
By Omegasquid
No, plumapterans are the dominant clade of flying vertebrate.
By Omegasquid
I wonder what happened to WhalephantSnail, not only is he not active on Spore anymore but also his DeviantArt account too. Hope he's ok and only just lost interest in both Spore and DA or is too busy to do stuff.
By Omegasquid
Maybe, I told AstroPlanet and he's probably going to redesign them.
By Omegasquid
Yeah maybe that first appeared around 90 million years ago and went extinct around 65-60 million years ago?
By R13426
Yeah there would have to be some species that go extinct naturally from competition, not just from natural disasters. Primates driving lemurs almost extinct (except for Madagascar) come to mind.
By Omegasquid
Maybe thou that can easily be a xenotheropod or diordoscapulid that occupy those niches. I kinda like the idea that I made.
