(Best viewed in the editor) The Vinthrall are a foe not to be reckoned with. Despite being blind, their exoskeleton is covered in sensory organs that allow them to ?see? the heat signatures of lifeforms, and they?re also extremely sensitive to vibrations around them. They?ve got two brains ? one in their head and one in their abdomen. The reason for this is that the head can actually detach from its body and crawl around, allowing both the Vinthrall?s head and body to operate as two different entities. This is often used as a tactic for attacking prey that may pose a threat. The body will spit acid at the prey while the head attacks and finishes off the victim. The head is then able to reattach to the body with no issues. If they were ever to be separated, the head can function entirely on its own. The body, however, will find a safe place to hide while it hibernates and waits for a new head to grow back.
