Description
"Giant Mouth Beak" a 5m long carnivore that is found in swamps and mangroves where it hunts "fish", and young megafauna. It is an ambush predator, camouflaging with the murky shallow waters and mud. It prefers to bask and hunt on the mud. They are solitary hunters but are found basking in groups, scattered across the muddy banks. Hatchlings stay close to their mother. The mother aggression is unstoppable where she will lash at anything that gets too close. This species is one of the only species to have its two lower jaws to fuse as one while its ancestors and relatives kept their split jaws over the millions of years. The animal is capable of submerging and sinking to the bottom of the water and waiting for "fish" to pass or to suprise larger prey. They are able to hold their breath for up to 30 minutes at a time.

Unless it's a monojaw (animals made by SystemFailure), it shouldn't have one lower jaw. Also, I feel like it's not really that alien-looking. I still think it looks great, but move the nostrils to the snout and ya got yourself a tetrapod.
