Description
These animals are not too dissimilar to a variety of taxonomic orders known in Galactic Common 3 as "primates." With evolution leaving them useless blackened, pinprick eyes they rely on their very precise echolocation to traverse their colonies. Vent Swingers get their name from these said colonies, in fact - after the intense shift in volcanic activity, the plane'ts oceans receded to almost nothing, leaving many dormant coral vents from once undersea volcanoes. In many areas of the dried seabed, dense "forests" of these coral vents can be found - this is typically where this species resides. Their longer limbs are used for traversing the vent branches and the smaller limbs near the chest end in hardened, calloused hands which they use to dig through the hot, crusted ash on the ground to get to the nutritious grubs and critters thriving in the cooler, vulcanized soil below.
