Description
(Pls remember to rate up) The only canine to go extinct in historic times is the warrah (aka Faulkland Islands wolf or fox). They looked like a cross between a wolf and a fox but are related to neither and had a very characteristic white tip tail. How the warrahs came to be on the islands is a mystery but how they went is not- they were killed off under the pretense of protecting sheep. The warrah, however, was a bird hunter and had no real interest in sheep. These animals were so curious and trusting that the colonists would kill them by luring them with meat with one hand and stabbing them with a knife with the other.
