Description

Mardospis achieves locomotion through the linking of the tendril-like crest on their skulls and the advanced organ on it's rear. Mardospis inhale the oxygen-rich water through the crest which is then syphoned inside the body - The oxygen separated from the liquid (of which is first purifyed of contaminants which Mardospis feed off)- the latter of which is dispered through the branch-like growths along it's body. The air is then stored in the dark-green sacks along it's body (which inflate and deflate in a constant and instantaenious process) which then empty themselves ready for the next load and force it's recent contents through the tubes in it's rear organ in the form of bubbles creating slight motion which builds in momentum eventually. These sacks provide fuel one-to-each-tube with the more dominant one will act as both an emergency supply should the smaller ones get damaged and as a buoyancy controller. Should they themselves become damaged the creature itself continues almost as normal - slight mobility issues considered. They are found around coral reefs providing purifyed water for them so that they can safely grow without contaminated water affecting them. They are protected themselves by spines along their backs and body plate-like scales. They live quiet lives - neither territorial nor a schooling fish they live in tranquility as it is rare that any predator of any size will attack them. After all - who wants a Mardospis spine caught in their teeth? (If I may say so myself this is possibly my best work on this account!)

EPIC details on this WONDERFUL creation!!!!! :D

Perhaps someone thought it looked too much like something they made before? Who knows! I'm more inclined to think it was a "spamming test" or Spore bug.

I also have heard that if an image gets too many uprates then a bug in the Spore machine can kick in.

I think the "red face downrate" may be due to a question I had the other day about why people spam thumbs down.

Do you read a lot and/or a scientist type in real life?

A pretty good chance at being epic I'd say! You're certainly a talented designer and story teller, Db:^D
