Description

Behold! Father Salazar, of the Lizard People! He is a little taster of what will be happening in my creating future. Ever since I hit 100 subs, I've been thinking about where I'm going in Spore.My ultimate goal is to start creating creatures again. For about 4 months ships, weapons and mechs have really been my main thing.Unfortunately, I find myself yearning for the creature editor. But I do not know what type of creature I will create.I love limb-faces, and got quite good at them towards the end if I was to toot my own horn, but there are 2 issues with this. 1) They are veery difficult to make, and the slightest minstake can force you to restart the whole thing. 2) I don't have any ideas. Every time I make a new limb face creature, they are uncomfortably similar to ones I have already created. I don't want to share creations that are essentially the same as one before.Therefore, I think the direction I will go in is similar to Salazar here. Little characters with detailed faces and cartoony colours. I will probably end up making log descriptions for each of them, and outfit them in the Space editor.Now, I think I've really hit my stride with my mechs and ships. I'm pumping out a lot more detailed and well proportioned mechs, so I will no doubt continue to create them. But they take so much time to make that it's exhausting to be purely a mech maker. (How did Impious do it?)Finally, my ships. After 2 commissions already, I never realised how fun it can be to create ships to other people's specs. So I'll probably continue doing that.In short: 1) More mechs2) Character creatures3) If I ever get a good idea, limb-faces question mark?4) Ship commissionsThis should be cool :D
