Description

A simple yet highly jovial race. Despite the agriculturally weak land they occupied, they always made the best out of the dire situation. They were initially a nomadic people but settled down due to their planet undergoing a climate change thanks to a solar eclipse that would span a century. The land was lush and free of predators but over time had dwindled. Nonetheless the Hemaguine would express joy and happiness for what they were able to have. Their social structure bonded more tightly than any industrial strengh adhesive. There was no heirarchy. It was not within their nature to achieve anything they felt were beyond their needs or desires. Their two most famous activities were smiling and dancing. It did not matter what the state of their villages were, the Hemaguine always found time to dance in the name of spiritual prosperity. It was their only way of feeling complete with their planet and the universe.As the land fatigued around them, the Hemaguine began to die out. Each one, dancing until their energy completely drained. In their culture, burial was forbidden. The body was to lay in the exact position when the individual had passed on. There was no sadness in the Hemaguine world. Each one danced until, eventually, all had succumbed to their fate. Some from old age, others from disease and sickness.Time had passed and, miraculously, the land started to restore itself. Despite the sun returning to its normal state, the land was still predicted to be depleted of minerals and nutrients. But instead, the land was more lush and vibrant. It was seen as a miracle. The only belief that surfaced was that the energy released from the Hemaguine when they had died was absorbed by the land and caused the rebirth. Because they were such a positive and happy race, their energy was able to cultivate the land to a state better than when the Hemaguine had originally settled in the region. To celebrate the miraculous event, a shrine was created. Now it is visited by many across the planet. Many wish to absorb the energy of the Hemaguine to better their lives, to embrace a different outlook and to be happy even when the walls of their life are pressing against their skull.They say the best way to channel the energy of the Hemaguine is to just smile and dance. No matter where you are.
