Its bare land outside of the village is because the land is swallowed by darkness. Like I said,I am not good at making adventures

Good thing you put a lot of power-ups in the final battle. That made killing the beast not as tedious as it usually would have been.

As for the gameplay, it wasn't that enticing. The void monsters make no attempt to destroy the shrine, they just sit there wandering around.
