Description
The scientist Navette's last act before the illness claimed his life was to download his consciousness to the memory of this A.I. ship, it then headed off into the void leaving his colleagues to wonder if the transfer was a success or rendered him insane.

And yet, Navette is french for Ship, but the term is currently used for actual water ships.
