Description
(Ursadraco carnivora)
This bizarre creature lived about 100 MYA and is not actually a type of Dizaar, but rather an Ursadrake, a closely related clade (Ursadracoidea). Ursadacoidea shares a common ancestor with true Dizaars. Ursadracoidea is mostly extinct, with the exception of the subfamily Ursapotaminae (the Riverbears). One of the biggest differences between Dizaars and Ursadrakes is the switch from a herbivorous diet to a carnivorous one. The terrestrial Ursadrakes never got very big. The Ursal Dizaar was only about a metre in length (3.3 feet) and fed on small creatures, though it is theorised they may have been semi-aquatic, hunting small aquatic animals.
