It turns out that you can also "patch" Spore to use 4 GB of RAM rather than 2 GB (default), drastically reducing the likelihood of crashing.

the most notable one is the Slot Stacker. You know how you are limited to 2 columns per page of prop type? Slot stacker gives you 4 columns, which is further expandable.

Such a shame all this progress in Spore modding came too late in its lifecycle....the best creators could have made something truly beautiful....

Liskomato just made a mod that allows you to have 120 props per prop category, rather than the default 60
