Description
So before this year really gets started, I should probably mention something.
I have "Aspergers", a neurological problem which affects social and communication abilities. Due to this (and ADHD) I find it hard to express and socialize. I can come off as too spazzy, disoriented and aggressive at times.
Due to this I wasn't very liked in school, because everyone who saw this person fwapping their head everywhere like a bird was weird. But honestly I'm grateful for the friends I''ve made, even if I lost them. They were trustworthy companions in times of need. This applies online and real life.
The reason I still play this game is because of everyone working on the Ecoverse. They've helped me not only with alien-making, but helped me improve my skills and give me a reason to stay.
Thank you all.

Just thought this cool story on the news was worth mentioning about an autistic girl whose extra sensitive hearing saved a life after an older woman slipped and fell on ice. There?s good and bad to everything and autism is no exception :)

Some of history?s brightest scientists and best SF writers had autism

It would make sense. After all autism often entails a preference for objective and straightforward science and math, combined with often having one?s head in the clouds would suggest a preference for science fiction

I'm pretty sure most of the active community here is autistic, actually... I have both of those disorders too

Interesting... I am autistic myself and SystemFailure is mildly autistic too!

This isn't supposed to be for pity points, it's just something I'm in no control over. If anything, it's a warning or notice. IDK how many people I've met that have a form of Autism; I'm kind've curious.
