Conuropsis carolinensis
Diet: seeds, fruit, grain
Distribution: United States (most northern range of any parrot)
The Carolina Conure is an extinct species. These birds lives were very social and lived in flocks of a couple 100 birds. These birds are very colorful and kept the same colors year-round. Males and females look alike. Except for the male being a little larger than the female. The juveniles were completely green and were paler in color. Adult coloration attained at 1 year old.
