Re: Yeah that?s more what I was referring to, things that appear to bear no resemblance to any other lifeform because more similar ancestors are unknown

I think a key characteristic of those 3 animals is they are held up and supported by a dense muscle system.

@sammy Perhaps, not a big fan of the name though since it's pretty unspecific, it roughly translates to "odd animals" or even "inferior animals" (which is incorrect), doesn't really describe any characteristics of the animals.
