Sobek,or Sebek,is an ancient Egyptian god of war,and water.He has a complex and fluid nature.Sobek is one of the sons of Nit(Neith),a warrior goddess of creation.Sobek's brother is the chaotic serpent Apep(Apophis),who was born when Nit spat into the Nile.
