Description

?When my father made the promise of the God That Will Come, he envisioned that he would gather the power of his siblings and usurp the Titans. That didn?t work. His secret weapon was a child, crafted from the essence of himself and his siblings he had sealed in gates made of stone from the Isle of Gods, designed and cultivated for aeons for the very purpose of harnessing the Titans? power, ripping them from the galaxy?s fabric, freeing their place upon the Isle of Gods for him to take. That child, the Chosen One, failed in their task. The prophecy did not come true.

It couldn?t. Someone else had hijacked the prophecy. My father could never be the God That Will Come. I?d taken that position. What my father didn?t realise was that in breaking the Titanic Pattern, he made room for a new one. The Pattern of Lineage. Child usurping their parent. He turned against the Titans, and so I turned against him.

But I have no children to defy me.

I will be the promised God That Will Come. Of Prophet, I will build the frame, and grant myself the vision of the End. Of Attendant, I will construct the armour, and grant myself the connection to turn all my kin to my side. Of Herald, I will take heat to forge my new form together, and grant myself a vessel to serve as my transformation. And of Mystic, my father, I will take the energy to fuel my ascension, and grant myself the power to create a god.

I will not usurp the Titans. I will slay them.

For without Titans to hold the world together,

the world will End.?
