Description

[Acolyte]
Acolytes are a more powerful version of Prodigies, more closely connected to the god that has gazed upon them. Prodigies are mortals who can tap into their patron deity's Might reserves at will, while Acolytes transcend mortality itself and become "partial gods" under the divinity that has uplifted them, becoming an extension of their will. Most Acolytes grow into gigantic forms, though there are exceptions?as there always are. However, while most Acolytes are powerful beyond words, they are not immortal nor invulnerable and can be slain even with "mundane" means, just like any other creature that bleeds. They require an immense amount of Might to simply exist, and unless they have the constant support of their patron divinity, they will rapidly drain Might and lose their powers until they finally fade away. The cost of ascension is their original physical body?unless they were already but a soul.

The method by which a god creates their Acolyte(s) varies greatly. For example, Spode creates His Acolytes from souls that proved their unyielding loyalty to Him in life, while the Goddess of Cryo's Acolytes undergo their metamorphosis inside a cocoon of permafrost.

Trivia: For an ordinary creature, ascending to an Acolyte is a harrowing, agonizing experience that rips them apart in mind, body, and soul before rebuilding them from scratch. However, if the god chooses to appoint a formless being as its Acolyte, there won't be a need to reform their body?which is the case for many spiritual/magical/energy entities.

[Lesser Divinity/Deific Apparition/Hexquadran Entity]
Beings that mainly dwell within the veins/ley lines of the "Great Tree" Hexquadra, such as the kami, jinn, and Ethereals, are classified as "Lesser Divinities." In a sense, they are the inhabitants of Hexquadra?the unseen beings of pure ultraenergy that rarely, if ever, show themselves on "this" side of reality. They do not produce Might for the deities of Miikka64's galaxy, as most of them are "unaligned" and not bound to any god, hence having no loyalty. However, by absorbing the remnants of fading deities, they can take on their mantles and powers, keeping their "concept" alive. The God of Replication Aphidite was slain almost five cycles ago, yet Her replication-aligned Might is carried to this day by various Lesser Divinities.

Trivia: Lesser Divinities often take on physical forms when they exit the Great Tree's innards to explore and interact with the physical realm. Of the types of Lesser Divinities, kami are known to enjoy mingling with mortals the most. Though not as much these days, as they serve as excellent sources of neutral ultraenergy for more powerful deities.

[Demigod/Semigod/Half-Divine]
Gods who do not hold a divine seat and are considered inferior to "proper" gods for various reasons. These reasons may vary between having no solid following/worshipers, being a relatively new divinity, or not even being a full-blooded divine at all. They are usually servants or aides of full-fledged gods and are often restricted by their own "master" to only be able to use a certain amount of Might from their reserve, so as not to ascend too high and become equals. Demigods cannot absorb the Might that stems from prayers and worship directly, though some demigods have found other means of acquiring Might for that reason. Nauneth, a demigod of Aqua, absorbs Might from mortal souls by "twisting" them in her image.

Trivia: The Geolords of Lapisia are/were technically both demigods and gods, as they shared the seat of Earth together because of their nature as a hivemind. Together, they were a god; separated, they were demigods.

Trivia 2: Demigods can ascend to full godhood through many different means. One way is to gain Might until it matches or becomes greater than their master's, after which they can slay and consume their original creator to replace them. Another way is for the god to simply give away their own divine seat and... "retire."

Nice to learn about the hierarchy/structure for these divine and divine-related beings. I'm really enjoying how you've structured your magic/god system, it feels really comprehensive and like it's a result of a long, eventful history.
