Description

[Chosen One/Delegator]
The moniker of "Chosen One" is often wrongly attributed to Prodigies, Acolytes, and even demigods. A true Chosen One is a full extension of their patron deity, possessing enough Might in their being to be considered a god themselves. The nature of a Chosen One can be likened to mitosis; in which a god splits all their power and Might to create a second entity from themselves. This entity can possess most or all of the attributes of its parent/creator god and can absorb the Might born from the beliefs and actions aligned with the deity they were created from. The act of creating a Chosen One?or "Delegator" as it is also known?is highly taxing on a god, as they sacrifice half of themselves to give life and form to another being.

The act of creating a Delegator was considered something of a "taboo" after the God of Replication lost control of Their powers and inadvertently almost brought about the destruction of the galaxy countless eons ago, when their Delegator rebelled against Them and began replicating itself to a point where the "Rulemakers" had to intervene.

Trivia: Like with Acolytes, the way in which a god creates a Chosen One can differ significantly. Using Spode as an example again, He chose to use the egg of a random spodar as the medium to "incubate" His Chosen One, while the previously mentioned Delegator of Aphidite was born by the god literally splitting Its self in two.

[God/Celestial]
Sometimes referred to as "Lesser Celestials," especially when compared to Spode and God That Will Come, the gods are entities of varying sizes, shapes, and powers that preside over concepts, elements, actions, and various aspects. They are bound to a singular type of ultraenergy and can draw it towards them from anywhere and everything that resonates with them and their alignment, such as prayers, worship, associated actions, and so on. This allows them to effectively function as sentient nexuses for their chosen alignment. Born of the primordial energies of the "Big Bang," caused by the Chosen One of Life defeating Agotheus; the Primordial God of Terminus, gods are manifestations of the residual energies of the fight itself, given form, purpose, and roles by existence itself.

In the dawn of time, the gods had free rein to do as they wished. However, after the end of cycle "zero," they were disciplined by the Rulemakers into following guidelines and rules so the galaxy would not collapse in on itself again before the "designated time." After their reeducation, gods were bound to "divine seats" that serve as anchors to keep their concepts/alignments from running out of control? And also to prevent the creation of new concepts that might endanger the "Big Picture."

Trivia: When a god dies, their Might becomes neutral. It floats about in the world, waiting to be absorbed by other deities. If another god replaces the slain god at their divine seat, their Might will align itself with the new divinity automatically.

[Prime Celestial]
The twin gods Spode and the God That Will Come were the first two beings to gain consciousness after the Big Bang. Spode is the manifestation of Control, and the God That Will Come of Freedom. They are the oldest and most powerful gods of Miikka64's galaxy. God That Will Come gains Might from each and every choice made by living creatures, while Spode gains Might from each and every choice taken from another. They are at constant odds with one another and are eternally locked in a stalemate. Both fear one another and the fate of existence without Them in it.

Trivia: They might be the first beings to gain consciousness, but they weren't the first beings to come into existence. They were preceded by Life; the Primordial God of Origin, Her Chosen One Steve, and the Primordial God of Terminus; Agotheus. Agotheus and Life were born from the energies of the "Big Crunch," the end of the previous universe.

Trivia 2: OxO is a wildcard, being a Primordial and a Prime at once.

...your GTWC to grant blessings that were effectively similar. So yeah, if this works for you then I say we go with it. Thanks for answering my questions :)

I like that progression. I guess GTWC couldn't grant official Prodigy/Acolyte status to Absolion since my galaxy doesn't have the same "rules", but the bridge would've served as an "adapter" between Might and the Patronic Principle, allowing...

I could see GTWC not wanting to risk “weakening” Himself to support Mystic’s personal game with Kaceh. However, it would also explain why Spode was willing to take the risk of Delegating, since GTWC would be weakened as well. What do you think?

By Benjami

Yeah, that makes sense. Would you say that makes Absolion a Delegator for your GTWC, with Him granting a blessing to Absolion's egg similar to how Spode did to a spodar egg, or did he support in a Prodigy/Acolyte manner, or maybe in a more passive way?

By Benjami

Perhaps both your Spode and GTWC were willing to ally with their counterparts in order to create a "bridge" to my galaxy that allowed them to harvest Might from a new source? They get Might, in exchange for guidance/resources for the newer pair of gods?

By Benjami

Btw, how connected would you say your GTWC was to Absolion? Was he in any way involved in the process, and if not, how did he react to his creation (wary of escalation or supportive)? Might be nice to develop the terms of our GTWCs alliance.

These have been a fantastic write-up of your godlore. Creating a Delegator certainly seems risky, a chance to shake things up and gather more Might, but with danger of creating something you can't control. Heck, we've recently seen just how risky it is.
