Description
Despite the bipedal appearance these are not creatures but a colony of plants. The exoskeletal mass is fed by hydraulic action. They seek carrion or decaying matter to take root over, absorbing nutrients as it decays and processing it via photosynthesis.

Yes you're quite right =p - The created sugars through photosynthesis only require carbon dioxide and hydrogen which are abundant in our atmosphere. The other compounds are needed for transport molecules like ATP or various enzymes =p

Awesome creation! just one thing about the description, photosynthesis is using the sun's energy (light) to form glucose inside the leaf of the plant, not really anything to do with decaying matter, yeah sciene nerd alert=] anyway still one great creature
