Behind the gate is a horrible Sonnilor, slay the beast then confront General Snarlax who seems to have just arrived from the teleporter behind him.

Heading through the portal you have encounter the Sonneilla priest, here you must use speed or stealth to make your way into the Pariah tomb with scepter in hand and shut down its chronosystem

Victory is yours, the tomb is offline for the time being, use the teleporters in the P.O.D tomb and find your way out and speak with the Sonneilla priest.
