Descripción
Fitted with the Core derived Gideon drive capable of instantaneous translation of thousands of light years in seconds, the Hegemony of Man Capital Ship Balthazar is one of the most advanced and lethal ships in the fleet. To avoid being ripped asunder as the ship translates to c+ speeds the entire crew must be secured in acceleration pods fashioned to fit the form of their bodies exactly. Those pods generate their own class 10 containment fields to ensure the crew's internal organs are not turned to soup at the jump. (Inspiration from the Hyperion series of books by Dan Simmons)
