There's a key in the cell to open the first door. Destroy the second door to get out. You'll notice there's corpses dotted around the area, and a cave door to get to Map 2.

Here you'll find a camp with two sentients. One, you can ally with. Further in the map you'll find a cloudy, inhabited forest. Deeper in will be a portal that takes you to Map 3.
