Description
The Aurelian civilization is something of an aberration in its origins, being an "uplifted" species that was not the original sentient race on Aurelia. The original Aurelians are largely lost to history, exterminated by the current species in a genocidal revolt. The current Aurelian species was originally a semi-sentient pack hunter from Aurelia's northern lands. Despite their fox-like physique, the Aurelians are more closely related to the great whites of Earth than the genus Vulpes. Raised as warrior-slaves for their masters, the Aurelians overthrew the former civilization in a series of bloody conflicts that left the planet terminally scarred. As a result of their history, Aurelians are ferociously independent and, while certainly unafraid of battle, generally pragmatic in their outlook towards other sentients.
