Description
Over time, the Zierna evolved to blend into the swampy environs on their home planet. Despite having the Treng's DNA, mutations accumulated over many generations and they soon grew to look somewhat different from their more serene taxonomical cousins. They grew taller with long legs and webbed feet to stand steadily in mushy compost or algae. Long legs are useful when most of your planet is submerged underwater after all... Their skin tones also shifted to a more mucky shade of green to blend into the environment. The yellow tints are thought to be there for mating displays and social purposes. And of course, the traditional four Treng tails.
