Description
Having no eyes, the Inzurg instead sense vibrations in the air and in the ground, the knobs on the side of their heads acting as ultra-sensitive timpanic membranes. Their soft, low-density feet allow them to move stealthily without masking other vibrations in the environment. Inzurgs are patient predators, often traveling in small groups and emitting a noxious gas to incapacitate any nearby prey. In some tribal societies, it is rite of passage to try quietly crawling up a sleeping Inzurg, as such a feat is considered nearly impossible. Across the multiverse, starship captains who have embarked upon or completed a difficult task are regularly greeted with the phrase, "You really crawled up an Inzurg!" ;)
