The top predator of the Jurassic period. Allosaurus is one of the best known large meat eating dinosaurs. Likely hunting in packs, they could challenge all but the largest sauropod dinosaurs. Some allosaurs grew as long as T-Rex.

Allosaurus maximus. You could call that dinosaur Saurophaganax (if you wanted to.) But it is nice anyway.
