Description

These curious little creatures are denizens of the Bloodmurk River. They are the unrivaled masters of the waterways, and while they may seem like fairly simple creatures, they are actually quite intelligent. Forming hunting parties of 7, they've been known to take down prey far larger and more numerous than themselves, in spite of their diminutive stature, which proves extremely difficult in open water. Their small size belies the tenacious nature, which is backed up by some vicious looking spears. Perfectly equipped for the water, their webbed hands and feet and powerful, paddle-like tail grant them exceptional mobility in the water. Their hands and feet are covered with tiny hairs, much like a terran gecko's, allowing them to grip, just about any surface, especially the skin of fish. Their headfins and barbels can pick up the slightest movement or alteration of the electrical fields in the water, making it difficult for prey to hide. Once they catch their prey, they use the wicked stinger at the end of their tail to inject their victims with a paralyzing venom.
