The Scath Empire heard about the deathrace and just couldn't resist the challenge. Knowing that their opponents would be packing armour and firepower, They followed their traditions and decided that skill and speed would be the only way they would take part.Sporting energy shields and weapon nullifiers in addition to a small nuclear turret, they're only in it for the chicks :)
