Open the adventure in edit mode to see how this is done using advanced AI with just 2 acts and one goal!. This shows you how you can construct a complex creation by moving multiple bits of material together. To recreate this effect in your adventure follow these steps. Create a complex structure in the building editor. In the first act, add several gates. Open the behavior panel on each gate and disguise each one. Choose the creation you already made, but remove some pieces of it and save each model as a new one. Each gate should represent a part of the final construction. Place the gates in the world and line them up so that when assembled together, they appear to create the complete construction. Open each gate and ensure that the unlocked (bottom) gate is also disguised as the same part of the construction. Open each gate and change the locked state of each gate to Invisible (now that you have seen how they will appear in the world). Create a key for each gate that is disguised to look like an object that might make up the final construction, such as rope, wood, etc. Place these in the world. You can optionally add a teleporter (such as the workbench in this adventure) so that it takes you to the center of the gates to connect more keys. This is to prevent issues from the player being blocked from accessing locked gates when some of the unlocked gates are bigger than the locked state. The end teleporter marker should be Invisible. You can also add an invisible teleporter to get out of the center of the construction to your captain isn't stuck there. You can ensure that the player has to complete the structure before continuing to the next act by adding advanced AI. Add an NPC who's advanced AI is "Idle when aware of key 1, idle when aware of key 2, etc. for all the keys. The last advanced AI behavior should be "Move to" and "Always". Set the move to marker over a building that is sunk just beneath the ground. Add a goal for the act to bring the NPC to the sunken building. Voila! Your captain will have to gather all materials to create a complex construction at a particular site, and once it's done the act will be completed.
