Unfortunatley this mission is unbeatable because you cannot befriend a creature who is already your friend... Glad I got the top score though!

Yes, he's the one in the top right corner. But there's a glitch in act 6, play the other version. By the way, if its a sporn from another game I have no idea what you're talking about - I made him up to be Spode's evil twin.
