Description

-->If you enjoy this creation please rate it on spore.coml-- The Desert Bombardier Beetle is a giant insect native to the vast white sand deserts of the Eculan home world. During the frequent eclipses when the temperatures plummet, these elephant sized insects burrow down into the sand dunes where the residual heat trapped there will carry them through the cold of the lasting darkness. These giant beetles get their name from the napalm like blast they can fire at predators with pinpoint accuracy from over 300 meters away. Two separate glands in the rear of the beetle?s abdomen produce the two chemicals which mix just after being expelled and produce the blazing, explosive liquid spray. The bombardier beetles are also known to spray a mist of this same burning fluid over the cacti they feed upon in order to dissolve the plant?s thorns and make them easier to consume. *Created by Serevanth #1MPNL-8/27/09*
