Description
*This came from a nightmare I had. ^^; Hope it doesn't scare anyone too much. XD* A huge parasite, La'Eech attach themselves and drain blood from larger creatures. Large pouches on its back and on its underside are infact stomachs and elastic bladders, where excess blood is either stored or digested. Feeding off stored blood, La'Eech can go months between feeds. La'Eech can also eat meat, and have been known to eat smaller creatures whole. La'Eech are primarily nocturnal creatures, for their nearly translucent skin is extremely sensitive to the sun. Their skin is so thin, that after feeding the pouches on its underside and back will turn a pale pink from the blood filling them. Heavy and slow, La'Eech usually lay in wait for large creatures to lumber past. Lacking eyes, they sense the body heat given off by potential hosts. Lacking spines or tough hide to protect itself, La'Eech are surprisingly vulnerable. With their extremely soft body and hide, their only defense is their armor-plated legs. They can defend themselves by kicking would-be predators with their razor-sharp talons, or with a swift bite from their jaws. This parasite is vicious and more than capible of killing anything it comes across. *Seen anywhere else, its stolen. Steal it, and you die!! X@ please comment and rate! I'd really appriciate it!!
