Description

The Jacobs Manifesto- "I though we would all die. Human and Brakhai. Falling to these terrible insects. Cutter had dispatched all men to fight off these monstrosities. It was useless. I could see the Brakhai weren't faring much better. But there was hope...or death to us all." Marines fired their guns at the incoming abominations. Carapaces, dark blood, and flesh flew everywhere. But soon the marine's ammunition would run out, and the terrible insects were over them in seconds. There was no end to them. And not all were so easily taken down. Armored, humanoid insects with massive claws charged across the halls, slashing and stabbing the marines no matter how badly they were wounded. I didn't know where to run, where to hide. I passed a window and saw a Brakhai ship's engine exploding. Something nipped at my back. I turned to see one of the terrible insects clacking it's mandibles at me. The three hideous 'eyes' looked at me, wanting my flesh. I ran, but knew I was dead. Until suddenly the entire ship rocked. The insect and I were thrown off balance. I looked out a window and saw something small forming. It got bigger and bigger. I knew what it was when it began sucking the fighters in. It was a blackhole. Our cruiser lurched and shook. So did the other cruisers and Brakhai ships. We were being pulled in. The insects in space tried desperately to get away, only for the vortex to swallow them. Our cruiser was being drawn in. Already a Brakhai cruiser was swallowed. I closed my eyes, as our cruiser was sucked into the darkness.
