Description
The Jeirax Spice Containment facility serves as a refinery and storage for all different kinds of spice. The large silo on the outside is kept at high pressures, so as to preserve the spice and its longevity ? in other words, keeping it fresh for the market. Though the facility?s job is done by computers, there are always workers on site, monitoring spice levels and the tube transportation system. The transportation system runs underneath the colony and is linked to every housing complex and facility in the settlement. The system works as a quick and efficient way to transport spice throughout the colony by blasting it through the tubes via pressurized air. The power source for the system comes from the control tower at the center of the colony. Besides this, the Spice Containment can be used to refine raw spices brought in by use of a chamber on the outer side of the complex. This chamber contains a machine that processes raw spice and exposes it to a negative electric charge that destroys impure particles, thus leaving only pure, filtered spice behind.
