Description
For Dracilust's Neo Raptor contest :)
Small, they would hunt in packs exceeding 5 or more. They lived in dense jungles and were masters of both firm ground and the trees. The brain was alot bigger than expected, in proportion to the body. One theory for this is that they were more than the average hunter.
All of the pack would work together, using their highly developed social skills, manipulating the situation. Some members of the pack would run through trees, swinging with their long arms and gripping with their claws, while others covered the ground, balancing with their long tails.
It is assumed that the bright colours on their details were not only used for communication between themselves but also to scare and effectivly herd larger prey into situations favourable for the hunt.
Somtimes driving prey into an awaiting group, where the large toe claws gripped and the pack swarmed on the poor soon to be lunch, or for larger prey, driving into a pit fall where the agile hunters could kill and eat in safety.
Either way, the jungle is their terrain and their kingdom, ever watching and ever waiting from all corners...
