Description
A lean, agile herbivore, the alpine cerathere is roughly equivalent to Earth's mountain goats. They stand about 1.5 metres high at the shoulder, making them large enough to survive the harsh winter yet small enough to leap nimbly across the treacherous rocks and glacial landscapes of the frigid Kirillan mountains. Over the milennia, they have developed a bony crest and large horns, which they use to spar for a mate. The alpine cerathere forages by lowering its calcified head to the ground, where its many dextrous antennae delve into the snow in search of winter grasses and roots.
