Description
Somebody please help! SOTP - Winter's Breath is nearly finished but I've hit some sort of bug where the screen is totally black (the menu's are still there though) and all I can hear are loud strange sounds. What do I do? Someone please reply ASAP!

I had that happen and I just kinda forgot about it, although I could have went back to a previous save

I have never experianced this bug, but you should check the forums, if you can, reload a previous save (you should make a new copy at begining, middle, and end) or simply try and redownload it and make sure to save your adventures onto something else

Shit! It have happend to me too! I couldn't find an answer so I just, erased the adventure and have to start over. Hopefully you can find a better solution.

O..m..g..I went through the same thing a few times on some of the adventures I made... At this point, I've learned to make several copies of the same adventure in case it happened on one...

I can totally understand your frustration! Nothing feels worse than having all your hard work go to nothing. I wish I could think of some other possible solution, but I'm out of ideas.

Gosh... I don't know what to say to that. I wonder if reinstalling Spore would help - if the program itself is glitched. You would have to be sure to separate your saves and downloaded creations so they don't get wiped, but I'm sure there's a way to do tha

Also, in the worst case scenario, it might also save you from starting over absolutely from scratch.

I managed to track down the source of a fatal glitch in "Seeds of Ruin" this way that was blocking me from uploading it.

Do you keep backup files of previous versions of the adventure? If so, you could try opening each until you find one that works and then trying to infer what it was that you did after that save that might have caused the glitch.
