Description
Native to the thinner parts of the immense forests of Daxtian-42. These stridding behemoths are known for there tactics of capturing prey. They stalk their prey over a period of weeks. They sway back and forth according to the wind to seem more plant-like and be less threatening. Then, when the time is right they use their muscular thighs to swing their heads in a violent and powerful motion. Shattering the prey's bones, as well as disorienting them, The large creature strides with enough speed to grasp it's prey before it escapes. The lower jaw is unique in that it splits, one part at the base of the mouth, and the other part jutting upside-down over the creature's shoulders. It then is able to rotate it's jaw between the two at any given time depending on its actions.
