Well, it?s official. I?m leaving Spore. I know I haven?t been particularly active lately, I?m just making a tangible announcement. This isn?t because of one particular event, Spore has just lost its tang and wonder for me; I play less, build less, and the comments are piling up, unread and unreturned. Frankly, it?s pretty impressive that one game has fixated my attention so vividly for three years, and only until now has that attention waned. In my time here, I?ve met some great creators and great people, a few of which I?d like to thank here: UltimateZob, sErgEantaEgis, Mouthwash, tomographics, Xenopologist, Cacti, CopperLou, Euphoric_Turtle, giantants, ju1ietta, Ursidae, Staruniter, Mushroomking1, and LabRatABC. All are talented creators and awesome people, and deserve a look or two if you haven?t seen them already. Although It?s only a game and a standard-issue website, I feel that Spore is really a phenomenon and I hope that I have left something behind more than creations with gibberish names.
