#14 on my Shinies list is Basculin.
Pokémon: Basculin
Nickname: Mr. Fish
Gender: Female
Nature: Serious
Ability: Adaptability
Method of Capture: Random Encounter in Pokémon Black Aftergame. Caught in Ultraball.
Moveset: Aqua Jet, Waterfall, Crunch, Double Edge
Backstory: Yes, I know that I named her Mr. Fish. Yes, I know that she is Female. I honestly cannot think of a better name for Basculin, male or female. Anyways, She?s an oddity. She was obtained in a way similar to Jack, due to the fact that I received her whilst EV training Drapion. I saw the Shiny sprite enter the screen, ant he only thing I thought was ?Are you kidding me? Really?? This would be the second time I had found two shinies in one day (excluding both Ralts). Finding Mr. Fish has taught me two things. One, Basculin is surprisingly awesome. Its adaptability ability makes it way more powerful than it appears. Second, it is INCREDIBLY hard to catch. She was only Level 7 when I found her, and yet it took about 25 ultra balls to catch her. This is probably due to the fact that Basculin has a Lower Catch Rate than Dialga or Palkia. That?s pretty impressive for a common fish that you find in almost every body of fresh water.
