I guess that wasn't exactly brief, but it is compared to the timeline I made for reference. One final note, the UEC itself is not really the enemy in World Primeval, it's the rogue sect Gestoff is controlling.

So by the present in World Primeval (the year 2151) the UEC has had a long, unwanted presence on the colony worlds in the eyes of some people, which leads to a second rebellion forming on Sauros Prime, as the world is seen as being easier to take than Mars

Eventually, some people begin to feel the UEC should be restricted just to Earth and not the colony worlds, which leads to the Mars Rebellion (briefly mentioned in World Primeval) in 2128, which ultimately fails.
