Stegosaurus stenops, une des 4 espèces valides du genre Stegosaurus. Ce Thyréophore d'environ 8 mètres se différencie de S. armatus par des plaques osseuses plus petites et peut-être par un bout de peau sous la gorge. Il vivait lui aussi au Jurassique.
