I really do a different style of mech than you.I have been doing mechs for about a year and half now so I am quite familiar with the types of mechs for example my strength in mechs is steam punk but I think yours is futeristic.

When you use limbs it looks a bit stuffy too but when you do it right it looks good.Like fotosynthesis:D.You can get it right because you are a good mech maker

But that is only your view of the spore world.you see i have seen many creators use no limbs to make mechs beacause when you use limbs it doesn't look as mech like as it should but yours are still very good
