Description
Mounds of these algae frequently grow on the streets of the Zithan home world. They are cleaned up annually to prevent the spread from getting out of hand.

Presuming that the Zithian homeworld has a year cycle whose timespan is at least as long as the Earth's, the cities must get pretty congested right before the annual cleaning. It's an interesting concept.
