The F Series of the ASI-5 Smoothed up the entire aircraft and added a newer jet age bubble canopy for 360 vision. To reduce drag the cannons were moved deeper into the fuelsalage. MIC

Another two hardpoints for missiles, bombs, or droptanks were added farther into the wing. Pilots enjoyed the extra versatility of their new aircraft.
