Description

Siquiggians are a cephalopoid race of mollusks native to the planet Starrinishi in the Andromeda galaxy. Females possess mammary glands that evolved from mucus glands. It is unknown however why their bust became so prominent. Perhaps it was simply for buoyancy when feeding young.
They are semiaquatic and as long as they aren?t exposed to an excess of heat they are usually pretty comfortable on land. They breath with gills adapted to breathing in moist air and water.

Siquiggian females are larger than the males and live much longer (females live for about 70 omniyears while males only live for 8. And even this is rarely reached as males die shortly after mating).
Females reach maturity at the age of 15 OY. Males reach maturity at 2 OY and grow much faster as a result.

Because of the nature of males, they are basically just seen as a tool for breading and don?t have much of a voice among their race.
Siquiggians females don?t actually find their males that attractive either. This has led to interspecies relationships with other races becoming increasingly more common.

Siquiggians are a race of traders. They have become accustomed to using their exaggerated feminine proportions as a means to get what they want.

Siquiggians are incredibly flatulent. As a result, they often use their flatulence in combat. This is especially prominent under water and many of their weapons are actually designed for capturing or redirecting the toxic bubbles. They will use it to assert dominance over other females and will use it as a weapon against other races as well if need be.

They are a minor race in the Armarium Economic Alliance.
