Interesting, complexity also depends on the complexity of the creature. Technically you can get even simpler by reducing the spine to 2 bones, and have that mouth and one eye asymmetrical.

Had I used gates for my interior pieces and generally most of the adventure props (I don't like how gated interiors allow you to see out of the interior itself) I could have perhaps saved that much.

By the way, that gate trick of yours, how many dots of complexity did you gain at max? I just applied it to my Those Who were left and gained 2 FULL dots back, plus a little more. I just can't emphasize how wonderful it is....
