Description

Brayce is a Varanid, a species of sentient reptiloids native to the desert planet Korosh.
Varanids have tough, thick hides and can go a long time without food and water. They come in a rainbow of colors, but are mainly shades of blue or green. Most Varanids hatch with a vestigial ability to exhale short bursts of green flames from glands in their mouths. Like any muscle, this ability can be exercised to improve its capacity.

Brayce originally was a member of the Warrior caste. These are the biggest, strongest members of their species. Brayce was known all over Korosh as 'The Blue Dragon' because of his extremely well developed flame glands. He is capable of repeatedly spitting streams of fire almost 10 meters long.

He was exiled from Korosh after he was framed for the murder of his family by a rival clan. As he silently vowed revenge on the ones who betrayed him, and fled the planet on a small starship.

After wandering the galaxy for a time, he found work as a mercenary and fighter pilot. He gained a fearsome reputation for his habit of roasting and eating anything (or anyone) he managed to bring down.

After having narrowly escaped a series of manhunts during his time in lawless space, he decided to temporarily move into Kamorran space in a bid to lead a more civilized life. He hopes his new position as pilot and captain of the cartography ship Stormy Skies will finally give him some much needed time to unwind from all the fighting he has been doing.
